Samsung Electronics unveiled the Samsung Galaxy View on Wednesday, which it called the “largest Android mobile device on the market.”
The Galaxy View has a 18.4” Full HD screen, 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage (with expandable microSD card slot), 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera (for video calls) and a 5,700 mAh battery for up to eight hours of continuous video playback.
The Galaxy View has been “designed with a video-centric interface in mind,” according to a statement on Samsung’s blog, making it easy and convenient for users to enjoy the latest entertainment.
As the name suggests, the Galaxy View is designed with entertainment as a top priority. Users can enjoy a new level of multimedia experience such as video, music and game as well as richer social communication such as video calls and the Family Square feature, which provides a customized dashboard that can be connected with friends and family members.
